Inaugurated Saturday, February 25th at Villa Fiorentino the XV edition of the Exhibition of Camelia, organized by the Garden Club of the Sorrento peninsula with the collaboration of the Sorrento Foundation and the City. The president of the association, Russian Anna Acampora, and its affiliates, cut the ribbon display that sees in the halls of the historic home of Italian course exposed hundreds of cut camellias in pots belonging to various collectors. The premises that house the exhibition you will also see drawings and artistic works created by the children of the Sorrento peninsula schools who were asked to draw inspiration from the camellia for their jobs.
The ceremony was attended by the deputy mayor of the City of Sorrento, Raffaella Cancellieri, and the Councillor for Culture, Maria Teresa De Angelis, who led the members of the Garden Club institutional greeting. The CEO of the Sorrento Foundation, Gaetano Milano, did the honors.
